We are working on incorporating a strong conflict in our fiction writings, so that our readers don't fall asleep reading our work. Also, we are working on summarizing things that we have read. This is important so that we can understand the main idea or important points while we are reading and after having read someone's else's writings. In social studies we are getting to the bottom of the meaning of the Declaration of Independence. Mathematics has been focusing on making like denominators so we can add fractions together. This is important for division of a whole and if you ever have to share something equally.
