Conferences and Meap Science
We are almost through the first quarter of the year. The official end is the 3rd of Nov. which is a day off. No School on Nov. 3rd. Grades will be sent home some time in mid November.
Meap science will be started and completed this week.
In English Language arts we are finishing up on our reading selection. A non-fiction story about going to the north pole. The students enjoyed this adventure.
In Social Studies we have completed the Native Americans chapter involving cultural regions. For example we learned about the native people who lived in the Northwest, Southwest, Eastern Woodlands, Great Plains, Plateau, California Mountains, and the Southeast.
In math we have been using a protractor to measure angles and recently explored tessellation.
For your information this years Thanksgiving break is Nov. 22nd 23rd and 24th. Please let the office know if your taking any extended holidays this season, so we can plan accordingly.
